PADI Rescue Diver
It is good to know that you are looking beyond yourself to consider the safety and well being of other divers! This will be a crucial step in expanding your dive knowledge and experience.
What is required?
- Minimum age – 15 years old / 12 years old (PADI Junior Rescue Diver Course)
- PADI Advanced Open Water Diver certification (or equivalent from another training organization) with 20 or more logged dives
- Valid Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR - Primary Care) within past 24 months (or Emergency First Responder)
- Valid Basic First Aid (Secondary Care) within past 24 months (or Emergency First Responder)

What will you be learning?
With this course, you will learn to broaden your focus not only to your skills and the environment, but also to other divers as well. You will learn to prevent and manage dive emergencies if necessary, in turn increasing your skill level and confidence. The syllabus includes:
- The psychology of rescue
- Being prepared for a diver emergency
- Accident management
- Responding to diver emergencies
